Hello!

I'm Brittany, or Birdie, as my family calls me. I'm an Utah native who couldn't, and doesn't want to, imagine living anywhere else. Our mountains, strong communities, dry summer heat, and powdery snow, make Utah a dream. I can see why Utah has one of the strongest economies, and fastest growing real estate markets in the nation. It's a great place to be.

I love trail running, skiing, reading, Major League Baseball, and spending time at our many mountain lakes with my family.

The Full Story

I got my real estate license in the Spring of 2020, because we were preparing to sell our home, and I learned how much we were going to have to pay in commissions. It blew my mind. It was tens of thousands of dollars. At that point in my life, I could list the number of things that had cost me that much money on one hand.  They were things like my education, a down payment on that house we were selling, and a car. In other words: assets, not someone's sales commission. I just couldn't stomach it. Because the state of Utah makes it very easy to become a licensed real estate agent (a good and bad thing), I realized it would be more cost effective to become licensed and sell my house myself. At the time, the real estate market was on fire, and selling a house was an unbelievable piece of cake. I had no intention of becoming a full-time real estate agent, but planned to keep my license active and do some real estate investing, and maybe help a few close friends and family members on the side.

I started offering great deals on commissions to a handful of friends and family, and found that real estate was actually something I enjoyed and was good at. My father, who is a gifted entrepreneur, suggested I make a business model out of it, and Birdie Homes was born.

Because I am part of an Equity Real Estate brokerage, they allow me to set my own prices, and their fees to me are minimal. I love being part of an Equity brokerage-- it's what allows me to offer great pricing to others.
